Professional Development Team

Empowering educators through continuous learning and collaboration

At Tara’s International School, we are committed to continuous professional growth. Our professional development programs are designed to enhance teachers’ expertise, strengthen instructional effectiveness, and promote modern teaching methodologies.

All faculty and staff are supported through our structured “TIS New Comer Teacher Training”, ensuring they meet both professional and student learning needs.

A Structured Approach to Growth

At the beginning of each semester, a comprehensive skills audit is conducted. Based on this, along with lesson observations and current educational trends, a Professional Development Calendar is created.

Teachers attend at least one training session per week, with additional sessions provided when necessary.

Collaborative Learning Culture

Professional development sessions are led by:

  • School leaders
  • Experienced educators
  • External trainers

Teachers are encouraged to participate in peer observation, team teaching, and sharing best practices across departments.

Reflective Practice & Mentorship

Teachers document their learning after each session and apply it in the classroom. Their progress is supported through continuous observation.

New teachers receive mentoring from experienced educators and join structured orientation programs.

Cambridge TKT Training Program

In partnership with Bright Star English School, this program supports continuous professional development for educators and administrators.

  • Study international teaching practices
  • Reflect and improve teaching methods
  • Think critically about progress
  • Enhance teaching and administration quality

Since 2016, the program has trained new educators every year.
